Emotional Health: An aware-of-others heart

Lord,
You have set in motion the principle that emotional health has to do with having an outward focus.
I pray for (child’s name) to learn to focus on the needs and feelings of others. Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35) Help me as a mom to be an example of haveing a heart that is others-aware.
Please give (child’s name) a tender, caring, and giving heart. Make him/her to be a lover of people, and may he/she experience the health and joy that results from that.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God. (I John 4:7)
Note: If you would like to leave a prayer request for your child for other readers to pray for, please post it as a comment with your first name or initials. Your child will be prayed for if you do!
Emotional Health: A Peaceful Heart

Dear Lord,
It is a stressful world and young people feel it. I pray for (child’s name) to learn to find a restful and peaceful heart in a relationship with You. Your Word says that You bless Your people with peace (Psalm 29:11) Please teach my child to walk closely with You and experience peace in (a particular circumstance your child is facing right now).
Teach (child’s name) to focus his/her mind on You for You have promised in Your Word that You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You ( Isaiah 26:3)
Please make my child know that he/she is safe in Your arms.
In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, make me to dwell in safety. (Psalm 4:8)
