Heavenly Father,

I thank You that You have made my children to be whole people— physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  Today I pray for (name of child)’s physical health.

Help me to guide my child into good eating and lifestyle decisions.

I pray that my words to my child will be pleasant, for Your Word says, “Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” (Proverbs 16:24)  Let my words be the kind that actually bring health to my child’s body.

Where my child has any health problems, I pray that You would bring healing to that area, and show us what we can do to bring about better health.  As always, may Your good will be done.

“Beloved I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers.” (3 John v.2)
